How does a Patti’s Wine Tasting Dinner work?
Guests will check in at the Hostess Podium inside Patti’s Atrium. A Hostess will escort you to Bill’s Presidential Dining Room where you will be greeted with a welcome cocktail to start your dining experience. Once everyone has been seated, a Wine Sommelier will take give details of how Purple Toad winery began and the specific wines that will be paired with dinner; Mango Breeze, Lauren’s Blackberry, Paducah White and with dessert, Patti’s own house drink Winter Sangria. The featured Wines you will be tasting have been paired with the unique menu designed by Patti’s Chef and Pastry Chef. This specific menu is served in 4 courses, each paired with a precise Wine. Appetizer, Salad, Entree and Dessert.
Appetizer: Baked Brie with apple slices bacon jam, wheat crackers and herbed rosemary crackers.
Salad: House salad served with black current vinaigrette and savory spiced walnuts.
Entree: White Wine Stuffed Chicken. Stuffed Chicken Breast with a cream cheese blend wrapped in bacon baked and topped with a white wine sauce.
Dessert: Vanilla Bavarian with Honey Mist Gelee Mixed Berries, Almond Crumble and Black and Bruised Sorbet.
Patti’s Wine Tasting Dinner is sold by tables, with limited seating. A table is purchased for the number of seats at the table, for example, if you have 3 guests, you must purchase a table for 4. You can bring a 4th person at the last minute, if you find one, but no more than 4 will be seated. Building occupancy numbers are accounted for due to Covid restaurant guidelines. PLEASE NOTE: You WILL NOT receive tickets in the mail. The $5 shipping fee is for administrative costs and the copy of your PayPal receipt will be what you will need to bring with you the day of the event. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to check in at the hostess podium. TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

The seeds of Purple Toad Winery were sown in 1998 when the owners, June and Allen Dossey, and their son Steven, took a trip to Napa Valley for vacation. Reminiscing of their trip to Napa, they decided to plant grapevines in their former golf driving range (a long narrow field on their property). They planted 2500 vines that included Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Riesling. After several years of growing grapes, they decided they wanted to open a winery. Construction on the future winery and tasting room began in Summer of 2008. Today, Purple Toad Winery is the largest winery in Kentucky and continues to push the boundaries in Kentucky’s wine industry. We are very excited to be able to partner with the Winery in bringing you a fabulous menu, paired with some amazing Wines.
